Aloha Susan,

We finally have some time to breath—after the honeymoon and all the craziness at home. We never got a chance to thank you one last time for your assistance in planning our wedding and the years worth of emailing back and forth. We left Gannon’s feeling extremely happy with the day. We have you and Deanne to thank for making our wedding day flow smoothly and flawlessly.

The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL – the online photos definitely don’t do justice for it’s beauty and intimacy. All our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing the food and cake/cupcakes were. We definitely ordered too much food for the late night bar – it’s a shame we couldn’t package it up to go. I also wish more guests tried the famous Crab dip, but guests didn’t know what it was because there was apparently no sign for it. There were a lot of things we loved about Gannon’s. Some of these were:

• The service from servers and bartenders was excellent. Our personal waiter made us feel extremely special by being very attentive to our needs… doing a lot of small gestures and ensured our drinking glasses were always full. One of many examples, he realized I had no kleenex to wipe my tears so he went and got me a box of kleenex.
• Food was excellent. Many people especially loved the braised ribs – the meat was soooo tender and cooked perfectly. Everyone loved the thoughtfully portion of the salads and entrees.
• Appetizers were a huge hit! Thank you for saving us appetizers – they were amazingggggg.
• We definitely should have ordered more cake/cupcakes – it was also a huge hit! I guess we could have ordered a bit more desserts. We didn’t get a chance to try out any of it—the night was just too busy and short.

To summarize, we loved every aspect of our wedding. The location and venue were perfect.

Your head server/ in charge guy ( sorry his name is slipping my mind) was AMAZING ! So friendly, knowledgeable and just a really great person!! So a massive thank you to him as well!!

Thank you so much for all of your help along the way. Our wedding yesterday was perfect in so many ways. The guests were amazed by the breathtaking views at Molokini Lookout and they said the food was phenomenal. We are so happy to have chosen to have our wedding at Gannon’s and look forward to dining there as regulars now.

Hi Susan,

I just wanted to reach out and thank you for everything you did to make our wedding a hit! It was absolutely amazing and we had the best time!  Our guests had nothing but rave reviews and we heard multiple times that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, best meal and food they’ve ever had, gorgeous venue, and the list goes on and on!  We stuck to our guns of no shots 🙂 but ended up ordering a few bottles of nice champagne to get to the minimum!  We had the most wonderful time and are so appreciative!

Aloha Susan,
I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for our beautiful reception dinner on March 1, 2012! The evening went off without a hitch…. thank goodness! Our server was wonderful and very efficient….. the dinner was superb! Some of the family were shocked that vegan food could be so good…. what little they know! LOL

Our reception was wonderful. The cake was amazing, everyone commented on how yummy it was, I have never had a wedding cake look so beautiful and taste so good! We had a lovely time. Our guitar player was amazing and even took requests from my nieces!!

Morgan, my husband, Frank and I would like to thank everyone at Gannon’s for making our event so wonderful.  It is difficult at best to plan a destination wedding, lots of unknowns and uncertainties.  Gannon’s expertise in planning and execution (Susan & Laura), the food preparation, the cake (the chef’s) – by the way, all of the food was FANTASTIC, the wait staff and servers were friendly and most attentive, just an excellent job.  All of our guests told us over and over, how great the food was, best they ever had at a wedding.

Some family members questioned how ‘Morgan and I’ were ever going to manage the wedding and reception from afar, given that they had just survived their daughter’s wedding locally!  They expressed amazement that such an outstanding evening could be pulled off so well from a distance. Gannon’s made us look really good!

Thank you again for everything, looking forward to returning to Gannon’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner on our next trip to Maui!
