Lower Lawn

Maximum Capacity: Seats up to 60 guests with dancing and up to 80 guests with no dancing 

Our only outdoor area available for a Sound Tech or DJ and dancing and must be hired by Gather on Maui or your wedding planner ONLY.        

Hours:  5:30pm – 10:00pm April to August                                           5:00pm -10pm September to March

Cocktails/Dinner Set Up Fee: $650++ up to 50 guests
Cocktails/Dinner Set Up Fee: $725++ over 50 to 80 guests

The lower lawn requires a MINIMUM spend of $5000.00 ++ in food and beverage.  This is the amount you must hit in food and beverage sales.  If you do not hit this amount you WILL be charged the difference on your final billing at the end of the event.  You may go over this amount, this is the required minimum spend. This applies to all events that have been booked AFTER 3-14-2023.

Live music, Sound Tech or DJs and a dance floor with dance music permitted from 8:30pm – 10pm. Light cocktail and dinner music from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, than your high energy dance music may begin. ALL musical needs must be hired thru your wedding planner or Gather in Maui Weddings’ direct. We are NOT able to permit you to hire or bring in your own musician or sound needs. The use of microphones for ANY guest toasts or any speeches is NOT permitted in any of our reception function locations. Please note that there is no internet access to Gather in Maui Weddings for your wedding music. No Pandora, no Spotify, etc. unless you use your own data plan.


All reception items are subject to 4.166% sales tax and 25% coordination charge.

All set up costs include tables, chairs, service ware, white linens, personalized menus and staff. In case of rain your reception will be moved indoors, area TBD at that time. Added linen fees will apply for long table requests over 16 guests. Refer to general policies page/table set up. All fess will still apply in a rain call as your reception is still being set for you. Fee is for set up, no rain refunds.

Additional Reception Services

Extended Hours (early start prior to 5:30pm or 5pm based on time of year or late night until 11pm): $500/hour ++
– Hawaii law requires all minors to be off the premises at 10:00pm if there is any dancing.
– Wailea noise curfew begins at 10:00pm. You may be asked to turn down your music after 10pm if you extend into overtime. Prior request is required for overtime.

Dance Floor comes standard at no cost on the lower lawn
